After being away recouping from surgery and physical restriction –

Reviewed tunes I had learned earlier – Rd to Lisdonverna, Sweet Beulah Land, Swallowtail Jig, Southwind, Soldier’s Joy – Level 2.
Enjoyed flipping through Jason’s Fiddlehed Tune Book and just playing again.

Want to establish a practice routine (which will be fun) to include new scales, double stops, dynamics, embellishments and playing with feeling.

In January I want to cement my Heritage Tune Set in my memory – Grandfather’s Clock, Maiden’s Prayer, Fire on the Mountain. Continue learning Chicken Reel, Liberty. Begin Ragtime Annie and Kiss Me Waltz.

Glad you’re able to pick up the fiddle again! Sounds like you have a good plan. Double stops are doing my head in!

Good on you Mary, that sounds like quite a list. Looking forward to hearing those tunes if you post them. Enjoy your fiddle again and I hope you are feeling much better.
