G string double stops (or C string for vla). in the forum Advanced Beginner Group 2 years, 5 months agoCurious if I want to (or should I?) Add double stops to notes I play on the G string can I use the open A (or open G on Vla) or do I need to add fingering to that higher string? Thanks

Neat method ~ I currently use the free version of Garageband, where I can add parts separatetly and similarly listen to the other parts in headphones when I am adding another part (keeping 1 ear out of headphone to hear myself really well too.

@ripton Hi Steve, here’s an example of what I was mentioning in Dargason page comments. I utilized the existing sheet music and added some different octave options. Omitting going up in hand position, I switched to the lower octave instead. -

Hey Folks, this is a start to your requests for sheet music on White Christmas. I have a roughly hand written version, including an upper octave version. It may not be totally accurate though a good start. -
