I’ve been trying to get to grips with this sea shanty for a few months & started by playing to the sheet music, I was struggling to keep the rhythm & remember the notes & tempo changes.
Then a couple of weeks ago I was messing with some beats & thought I’d try it with the hip hop MPC beat! I adapted the tune tune a bit to fit & played it everyday to get it in time!
That sounded like fun, Joanne. Liked the beat and the triplets. I am shy of playing in front of people (good with animals), but there are many jams here in Richmond, Virginia. But, right know Strum Machine suffices. I like it.
