What did you use for backing tracks? How did you add the reverb?
It would be fun other folks to get into this…
I used Band-In-A-Box to create the backing track. Then, while listening to the backing track through ear buds, I recorded the melody. I used RealBand for that, but the free Audacity would work just as well. Reverb on the melody and mixing the two tracks was done with RealBand (or Audacity, if you like).

Thank you, Debbie. I created the backing track in Band In A Box. I think the basic package is less than $100. I have quite a few backing tracks for old-time, bluegrass, and celtic tunes that I’d be glad to share with you if you’re looking for something specific.
