Thanks for your kind comments on my tunes Owen. I sometimes use my mandolin to back up my memory practice of fiddle tunes as it has the same tuning. I’ve really struggled with double stops on the fiddle and one day, just started trying them out on the mandolin. It was so much easier, so I used it as a stepping stone to fiddle double stops. I think the mandolin gave me a bit of confidence and relaxed my approach on the fiddle. Still have a long way to go, but at last there is some progress on double stops.
