Today I made a playlist of Christmas carols and tunes to play at a party..I wrote each tune name with the first 2 notes of each, so I can easily play every tune in a key I like!
Now I will practice each tune on the list ! -

Intermediate Group 4 years, 10 months agoHi all ! We have been working on tone, adding variations and chords to tunes that are also part of the workshops or Hootinanny by Jason. We currently meet on Tuesday evenings at 8pm eastern time, on Zoom.

Intermediate Group 5 years, 2 months agoToday the 3 of us practiced the basic Jenny Lynn and a few of the 17 ways to practice….we are going to continue next week. We are having fun meeting the challenge !

FiddleHed Group 1 Intermediate ( 3 members created during the first breakout group session) are practicing this tune, some suggested variants, and / eventually the variations with double stops, etc. It is quite fun and quite challenging! We are going to continue next week.

Today Jason had a town hall meeting to help us, his students, form small practice groups. I met 2 wonderful ladies and now am in a group! I’m excited to start on this fiddle journey !
