Although I feel my playing is nowhere near being ready to join a jam group, I have made a connection with a local jam. Oddly enough, this group (Scandi Fiddle Group) is led by a family member (my mother’s second cousin). I found the group on a link from a Facebook group: Old Time Music in New England. Although it will be a few months until my Monday evening frees up, I have begun my journey of learning a new genre. Hope to share my progress here.
