So nice to gather with these good people yesterday! πŸ™‚

      Suzanne – @suzanneanotherchanceboise-com
      David – @david123429
      Terri – @terria125

Some great connections made and topics arising between everyone, nice to learn from each of you. πŸ™

      Some points I noted:

Great experiences with Wellerman learning through Jason’s sessions

      PlayEveryDay App discussed
      – sharing through voice recorder works well on this platform
      – interest to organize practise time with others live on that platform

Utilizing a variety of instruments into our music experience as well as during FiddleHed sessions
      Bow arm/wrist/hand motion and relaxation

Interest in jamming and improvising, groups play fast
      – We looked start of Wellerman, looping first section, and incorporating droning notes related to the chord for that section

Discussed how Waltzs can be a great style of music to hone in on tone skills and develop our playing abilities in general

Benefits from playing with folks (and practising on our own) with vocal song collaboration surrounding/with our music. Sing it and play it! Some songs brought up in relation to this: Tennessee Waltz, Crawdad song, Mountain Dew, Disney songs

      Some resources:
-Disney website has a variety of very easy to download backing tracks
-great performance by Country Bear Jamboree of Bile’ em cabbage down (from Disney World)
-Folk College, in Pensilvania – 2 ladies host who are in a band called Simple Gifts

Hi Jocelyn, Suzanne & Terri! 😊 Thank you for your interest, participating and sharing your music journeys!

In regards to the Disney Solos violin book, here is an image of it. It has audio access for instrumental play-along included through a website.
