This title caught my eye as I was looking through posts. This is great, Tom. Unique sharing. I’d like to see more of these! Way to carry out this challenge.

Another great thanksgiving tune played by Patty from a year ago. Thanks for sharing this, really pleasant sounds you create.

Was scrolling through videos in search of one and came across a couple thanksgiving songs from last year. This is beautifully played, Debbie.
I went and looked the song up to get acquainted with it and found this one with nice photos and lyrics

Thanks Jocelyn! I think some parts of the tune sound & flow more smoothly when slurred but I don’t want to do too much so that it sounds lazy or I start to “lose” notes.
The version on YouTube by the Cunninghams which I shared above, certainly has a degree of slurring.

Great work, Joanne 👍🏼🎶 I love the flow you have with this song. Neat aspect to focus on aswell… your slurs sound effective and smooth. Enjoy experimenting with that. I find my slurring will change with various tempos.

Here’s an update 7 days on! Hopefully improving! I’m just trying to work out where I should slur and where to separate to get the best sound

Thanks for your kind comments on my tunes Owen. I sometimes use my mandolin to back up my memory practice of fiddle tunes as it has the same tuning.
