And here are a couple of the note cards I’m making for the tunes I know. This process is really helping me β€˜hear’ the tunes better. Something about writing the notes as I hum is helping me musically. View

Hi Maryline. Looks like it’s you and me. I’m working through module 1.8 right now. You? Would you like to play together sometime?

Hi All! This is my first attempt to post! In Feb ’22, I started fiddle at age 58. While I don’t have serious physical problems, I played sports A LOT when I was younger, and I’ve broken a few fingers, and my right thumb was broken away from my hand. My wrists were not very flexible…So, I researched this a bit…And now, I have a series of…[Read more]

This is great, Terri! My left forearm/wrist often get tense and tired when I play longer than 30 minutes so I’ll be trying some of these out.

        Tom,

Great job! I like the tune. I feel like I would have benefited a bit by a little more repetition on the different quarters. I also don’t see the link you included. Congrats on being the first up – appreciate your time and effort.

Just renewed my subscription and had fun learning Lazy John. I’d like to learn more about how you decide what chords to play with the tune. Then you typically play the first, the 4th and the 5th…[Read more]
