Just renewed my subscription and had fun learning Lazy John. I’d like to learn more about how you decide what chords to play with the tune. I see the chords listed at the bottom of the lesson : D,G and C. So I think you start by listing the order of chords in the G major scale: G A B C D . Then you typically play the first, the 4th and the 5th so that would be G C and D but then how do you know what chord goes with what measure…. Silly question I’m sure! I’d like to learn more about jamming with others so understanding chords a bit better may help when I don’t know the song being played or it’s too fast or difficult for me..
