Here’s a simple version of a classic bluegrass tune called “Lonesome Fiddle Blues”. This tune was created by one of my favorite fiddlers, Vassar Clements.

The A part of the tune is in D minor, the B part is in G major (mostly – it gets a little weird at the end when it goes to A major). I generally like to play tunes slower like this…mainly because it feels right. The faster it goes, the less the melody stands out.
