I’ve started messing with syncopation and have the initial off beat but am stumped with the more advanced things. I’ve tried just listening but haven’t been able to combine playing. I feel like it’s my lack of tab agility. I am maybe too visually stuck on sheet music for my timing and can’t help but wonder if I would get this if I could ‘see’ where I’m going. I relate to visual notes much more quickly, too. I’ve been working on Peacock Rag prior to this but don’t get the correlation. Is there a direction you can point me or am I just throwing up mental blocks for myself? The deeper I get into all of your program the more I can’t imagine not being part of it. It and you, have been a Covid lifesaver. And I’m actually doing things that I never expected to come anywhere near doing. I love Kittys purr and your nonsense at the end of sound tracks. It’s all heart warming and eases the tension. Thank you. Grace
