      In reply to - Tammy Hunsucker posted an update in the group Beginner Group I have April 17 of this year in my journal as the first day I signed up for Fiddlehed lessons. One of the deciding factors for me to sign up was a phrase that said something like \"Where will you be in a year\". Now its six months later and I\'m so proud of myself for sticking with learning an instrument! These courses are perfect for the way I learn. I really struggle with trying to read music, thats my very weakest skill. My strongest skill is being able to get a song down in my head after two or three \"listenings\", a skill that has been made stronger by the call and response exercises. I\'m super happy I found Fiddlehed and I can\'t wait to see what I can do/play at the end of the next six months!! My ultimate goal is to be able to play some of the songs a relative of our family wrote. Look him up on YouTube- John Ashby and the Freestate Ramblers.
