I’ve been having a good time learning how to play a Scottish tune called “The Shearin’s No For You”. It seems well suited for a beginner like me.

The first phrase ends on E E. The second phrase is identical except that it ends in D C# D.
No problem but, for a beginner, this is a tricky string crossing, especially since the C# is a quarter note requiring some deft bow and fingering work.
Any thoughts?
