Thanks for the lessons and practice exercises for playing in tune… I really needed help with this. Sometimes I can only play with no music stand and no electronics, just me and violin. Like in the parking lot of the arena while kids are at hockey practice. After doing some lessons and practice on playing in tune, I can practice on my own by playing, slowly and (as) perfectly (as I can) tunes I know as well as I know my name.. some of mine are Amazing Grace, You are my Sunshine, Ode to Joy, Auld Lang Syne, Scarborough Fair…listening to myself there is no ambiguity about the right notes. I guess it’s a form of audiation but there is no effort to thinking about the melody, and all my energy can be focused on listening to my playing and matching it . If that makes sense!
