I’m now the proud owner of an ‘Amore’ violin. After 2 years of playing a 3/4 size I decided I’d grown up enough to get a full size. I went to string instrument specialist in Brisbane. I spoke to the owner before hand about what I was after. They have a range of 2nd European violins but he recommended this Chinese made, beautiful and well crafted one. He had 7 violins that he played for me so I could hear. This was $989 Australian. He also tried different bows for me. It only took 30 minutes. I can’t believe how resonant and responsive it is. It makes playing so much more satisfying. Happy happy!
