I had one fiddle tuned to viola, love the sound but don’t know how to play

I have 3 fiddles, one is decorated with sparklies cause I love the look .. it’s not a top quality fiddle but sweet.

My good fiddle is a higher quality and I used this for my re-learning the fiddle.

My third fiddle is old, great quality .. and, because I liked the sound of the viola, sweet and low, I had the strings set up for the viola. However, I believe that the viola music is quite different than the fiddle, so I’m thinking of having the strings set up for the fiddle again.

Does anyone play both the viola and fiddle? I’m wondering how challenging it would be to even think about learning the basics.

I did some research, found some helpful information and decided to keep the viola strings as is for awhile .. it’s fun to just play some little tunes. My main, though, is my fiddle and so I’m loving my FiddleHed lessons!!
