I’ve been fiddling for less than a year. My wife is concerned that I have developed a bad habit which she noticed while we were dining out at a restaurant recently. She noticed that sometimes I start humming quietly while tapping the fingers of my left hand on the dinner table. She thinks this habit might be related to the time I spend at fiddlehed.com. She says it’s getting worse. Should I be worried?

I should think that there might some medication that will help your wife cope. In my case, I know, almost to the second, when Judy is going to blow, cover her ears and start running in circles screaming “MAKE IT STOP… .” I recently bought a bow which had not been rosined. I put it to “Alois” and no sound was forthcoming. She immediately applauded the new bow and opined that I should get a gross of that same bow.
