I was working on pentatonic scales in module 2.5 and decided to challenge myself to write something restricted to pentatonic. Chose the key of G so that meant I couldn’t use any C’s or F sharps. Joanne, I loved how you interwove double stops into your improv. They didn’t seem forced at all. Very beautiful and nice bowing as well.

I LOVE this. I just downloaded the GarageBand app for my phone and hoping to find some good YouTube vids on how to use the darn thing. Real leary about downloading the PC version. Does anyone have any insight on that version?-

@fiddl3hed This Irish polka is a fun beginner tune. Noticing repetition makes it easier to learn: the 1st and 3rd quarters of the A part are the same. Same goes for the B part. And the 2nd and 4th quarter are the same for both parts. #fiddletok #violintok #violinlesson #fiddlelessons #irishfiddle

@fiddl3hed Here’s one of my favorite Irish reels call ed Tam Lin. There’s lots of fun string crossing in the A Part.
